Lowell Brandt Unit

The Lowell D. Brandt unit began operation in 2008. There are a total of 7 individual living units within this building totaling 180 beds which offer a variety of services for offenders with medical/mental health concerns. Each area has an interdisciplinary team which serves to address the many co-occurring needs which are present within this population. These services include initial and follow up screening, laboratory and radiology testing, dental screening and services, respiratory therapy, a therapeutic dietitian, pharmacological consultations, re-entry/ placement, activities therapy, education, and groups. Both the medical and mental health units are equipped with housing which can provide for varying levels of care.
